It was a Wonderful Experience, we had lots of close animal encounters and it was an amazing experience. We need to drive through in our car and follow a route and it’s divided based on different geographical areas. The audio tour is quite helpful and informative. The park is very well maintained and the staff is very helpful and courteous. We spent close to 2.5 to 3 hrs, but we couldn’t enjoy the water park, so plan at least for 5-6 hrs so the whole park + water rides can be enjoyed. There is also a giraffe feeding experience and children would definitely love it. I would definitely recommend it. Please like my review if you find it helpful.

Such a cool place!! The Drive through Safari was awesome. Got up close to so many animals. The actual zoo part was really neat. Lots of shaded areas, 4 gift shops, 3 mini water parks, tons of rides for kids, paddle boat area, not to mention a entire giraffe feeding pavilion! They also have foods trucks and a huge Disney like Cafeteria. If you have kids bring them here!! 👍🏻

If you love wildlife this is your spot. I have so many photos I will be able to load them all. They feed the animals near the road so you will get a close look at all the different species. After the safari is done about 1hr driving you get to go into the amusement park were they have rides and other games. Excellent stop if you are in the area.

Awesome place! My wife was here in 1969 and she was like a kid again. Obviously there are more animals and activities now. Friendly and helpful staff. Well kept, clean, and the staff is very attentive towards the animals and visitors. We stayed at the KOA RV park which was also awesome. Overall it was a great time and place. I will definitely return.

Small park which can be easily completed in 2-3 hours total. The park is separated into two areas. First, the drive through safari was nice with 30 species of large animals. The drive is in the comfort of your own air-conditioned car at your own pace with two lanes offered. Second, the walk through park is nicely landscaped however several of the displays were empty and all animal feeding stations had been removed (May 2022). There is a childrens area in the back of the park which has a splash fountain. Some small rides like a carousel, paddle boats and slides. Most disappointing were the food and eating options all of which were extremely overpriced and poorly serviced. Bring your own drinks and let the kids wear their swim suits. Nice afternoon.

The Square is a picturesque area that is lively with shops, restaurants, and activities. The center of the entire area boasts an enormous tree lined with LED lights that change colors.

During the summer, they have active water spouts in the ground for kids to play in. They also bring out snow machines as well.

In winter, they have a variety of food trucks make an appearance with warm holiday snacks.

The restaurants around here are all incredible and not super fine dining, allowing it to be accessible to all.

The shops are more on the higher end.

Parking is so simple, and I personally recommend parking in the Hibiscus garage. It’s affordable and connected right to the entire area.

Beautiful place with amazing luxurious boutiques, among restaurants. Walking around was great.
There is a beautiful fountain where you can sit around and take a break from your shopping. While doing so, try there ‘to die for’ ice cream made with cashews and coconut milk.

More than the shopping and restaurants, Rosemary Square is simply a good place to walk around. The palm tree-lined promenade, shady archways, and cool fountains are bustling with people at all times of the day. It is also convenient to visit, with easy paid parking available at the nearby Hibiscus Garage. Highly recommend when you’re in downtown West Palm Beach!

Beautiful place even just to walk around. Plenty of public parking for a fair price, they even have valet parking if you dont want to spend time looking around. Super clean with some nice store and restaurant option. Really well maintained and easy to navigate.

Great place to walk, hang out, people watch, plenty of restaurants to choose from. The parking is not the greatest but there are parking garages within walking distance. It gets very full at the restaurants so book on open table at the respective restaurant you’d like.

Update on 1-3-22: I went back when it wasn’t so crowded (you were right; winter break was the reason). The animals were very active and I was able to see more of them this time. The zoo staff gives informational talks about the animals outside their enclosure which is a nice touch. I had a very pleasant experience. I will be back again

12-27-21:It’s crowded. Kinda small. Monkeys were far away on their island so couldn’t see them too well. The tiger was out so I got to see him walk by a few times. The birds and reptiles were plentiful and colorful so that was fun to see. There’s a splash pad and playground for kids to play on so that was cool. It’s was an OK zoo.

Had the best day there! Saw so many animals. My favs were the Koalas and tiger! We had lunch there as well. Best burgers ever! Friendly staff. So much to see! A definite for the kids. Will definitely go back next time I’m in Florida.

A very well maintained zoo with plenty of exhibits and, more importantly, lots of shade. The animals were all in good health and spirits, and as the day was cool for Florida, we were able to see every one of them. The restrooms were clean. We went on a company outing, but I could see taking visitors there. Lots of walking, so wear appropriate shoes.

So awesome! Definitely the best zoo we’ve been to in Florida thus far. Being New Yorkers, we visit Jupiter and Singer Island a couple times a year. We’re always up for new adventures that aren’t too far away. This was an excellent zoo! We had a blast 🙂

The grounds are well maintained and the scenery is gorgeous. We went on a Monday afternoon and it was very peaceful. I grew up going to this zoo and I’m amazed at how well it’s been taken care of. Our family had a wonderful experience and we look forward to our next visit when the weather is warmer so that our daughter can play in the fountain.

Dog friendly trails. Love revisiting this place with good friends. My friend enjoyed taking pictures with her canon. Athena(my dog) enjoys running loose in the trails of the south part of Okeeheelee. Enjoyed wine during 4th of July with other friends on the dock to get dogs away from the noise. Be careful! In the evening venomous snakes(water moccasin possibly) did start swimming parallel to the dock. We left as soon as we saw one and someone else spotted another.

Great park for a lovely Saturday. It has a nice little nature center with lots of animals you can see up close . The nature center is only open Wednesday Thursday Friday and Saturday so try to visit on those days if you want to go in the nature center. This place has way more than the nature center though. It has lots of trails too And for the birders ; there are lots of bird houses and bird feeders . All in all it’s a great place for nature.

Okeeheelee is a large, beautiful public park. There are plenty of long and short hiking trails, many of which are partly shaded by tree canopies. Other activities to be enjoyed here include fishing, picnicking, horseback riding, cycling, BMX racing, and water sports such as kayaking, water skiing, and jet skis. The park is kid and pet friendly, much of it is wheelchair accessible, and there’s no fee for admission.

This park is an absolute gem. I grew up playing baseball and soccer at the sports fields. They also have a waterpark, dog park, disc golf course, golf course and numerous amounts of playgrounds for the children. Don’t miss out.

very beautiful park with a lot of outstanding features. They have an amazing set of nature trails to walk and look at nature. they also have trails where you can jog and workout, a stunning breathe taking views along with an outstanding clean park. This place has to be one of the best parks in all of Florida.

The extreme heat lately, make sure to bring enty of drinks and enjoy with the whole family.

We come here every chance we get! It’s a lot of fun and free. Donations are needed and shopping in the gift shop is fun! You come here when the nights are colder and make sure to show up in the AM. Staff are friendly and helpful! It’s great family activity that all ages will enjoy! Also handicapped accessible! The Manatees are a joy to watch and you will see other sea life as well.

✭✭✭✭✭ By Rolland Stromsness (a week ago)

Prior to your visit go on there website and check out the Manatee cam. As one of the managers explained Manatee’s are notorious for no-shows. Nonetheless, If you have kids and need something free to do, bring them here.

What they offer? (From their website)
There are other fun family options that are offered at Manatee Lagoon throughout the year. Manatee Lagoon staffers have created an extensive calendar of activities, ranging from daily educational presentations, yoga on the waterfront observation deck, programs for kids to story and more. Visit our events calendar to access the schedule and registration details.

Manatee Lagoon is one of Palm Beach County’s fun and engaging family-friendly attractions, with interactive, entertaining exhibits that tickle your curiosity about the environment of the Lake Worth Lagoon and the wonderful world of manatees.

The only downside is I needed to know if they had wheel chairs available and because the city runs it ,the call goes directly to the power and light company which doesn’t make sense. If you are not on the property how are you able to answer customers questions?

✭✭✭✭ By Tawny Valdez (2 weeks ago)

A fun time for adults and children alike. This attraction is run on donations. The employees or volunteers were very nice. There is a small educational area and gift shop in the building. Outside, there are two levels for viewing the manatees. There is also a walking path along the water and a few places to sit. A couple of “garden” areas allow for some nice picture opportunities. It is my understanding that the proceeds from the gift shop help fund research and education for the manatees and laugerhead turtles. This location offers tours and educational information for schools etc. The bathrooms were in need of a bit of cleaning, but it was very busy so it could be the reason the bathroom was less than desirable. Definitely stop by and see the manatees. You won’t be disappointed.

✭✭✭✭✭ By Paula Beliveau (2 weeks ago)

We had the best time! The people who work there are so knowledgeable, and very sweet. We were so excited to see Manatees, they are such amazing creatures. My kids want to go back again next week!

✭✭✭✭✭ By Elizabeth Arthur (a year ago)

Full disclosure I love Manatees! Didn’t get to see any but the gift shop was the best! Bought lots of goodies! Loved the variety of items. The museum portion was informative and nicely organized. Super nice kind staff. Hopefully next time will get to see some beautiful Manatee!
